Marya is thrilled to be collaborating with RTMP and wants to do her part to help this novel organization to make its mark on the artistic landscape, with music and beyond.  She is a bilingual English/Spanish Music and Artist Marketing Executive with over 25 years of international experience in the realms of entertainment and contemporary culture. Extensive experience in the Media and Artist Relations fields with xpertise in managing teams, marketing strategy and its execution. She enjoys a broad network of contacts in the domestic, Latin and international entertainment industries, including excellent relations with both media and the artistic community.Marya’s music and entertainment career began in promotions at BMG and Sony Music in Spain and then she was tagged to oversee marketing across Latin America as Regional VP of Marketing for PolyGram/Universal Music in Miami. She has worked extensively with artists such as U2, Metallica, Juanes, Sting, Paulina Rubio, Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow and many more across varied disciplines. Marya also served as VP of Corporate and External Affairs for the Latin Recording Academy, overseeing communications, public relations, membership and educational outreach surrounding the Latin GRAMMY Awards. Current Artist Management clients include Mariana Vega, multi-instrumentalist, Latin singer-songwriter signed to Warner-Chappell, raised between Caracas and Canada, who is the winner of the Latin GRAMMYs' 2014 Best New Artist award and was also a nominee for Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album;   Peruvian-American, 21 year-old rocker David Stewart Jr, the first-ever recipient of the Lollapalooza fully Endowed Scholarship to Boston's Berklee School of Music and his rock trio, Migrant Motel.  Marya enthusiastically serves as one of the team of Global Coordinators for One Billion Rising, the grassroots organization dedicated to making the statistics of violence against women, history.
