Band to perform at Virginia Key GrassRoots Music Festival, 9 Mile Music Festival, Okeechobee Music Festival, SXSW Music Festival
Miami, Florida (February 16, 2016)- Miami sounds' ensemble, Locos por Juana, had a full-house at their 4th annual Locos por Marley (Tuff Gong Lives) Festival produced by Rock The Moon Productions making it the biggest show by live attendance which played out at Wynwood Yard, Miami's newest hub for pop-up culinary and community ventures.
A memorable festival honoring the legacy of the legendary Bob Marley had over two thousand aficionados who celebrated along with the band and Miami's finest musicians including Tomas Diaz, El B, Mariana Vega, Tabaqueros, Elastic Bond, Jean Rodriguez, Inez Barlatier, as well as a special presentation by spoken-word group, Viking Freedom Writers.
Likewise, Locos por Juana recently recorded their own adaptation of Bob Marley's "Is This Love" for Sirius XM's show El Sitio con Ellen Flores that broadcasted on La Kueva on Friday, Feb 5thwith multiple replays during the subsequent days.
The band, coming off of a performance at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, is gearing up for multiple performances starting with the 5th yearly, winter season GrassRoots Festival to be held this year at the historic Virginia Key Beach in Key Biscayne, Florida and closing up the month with a special appearance at the 23rd annual 9 Mile Music Festival celebrating along the Marley Family also at Virginia Key Beach. March unbolts a short arrangement at the Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival in Okeechobee, Florida following by their second appearance at the well-known SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
